Mums the word.....

Not long now until the best day of the year....Mothers Day

The day when I get to lie in bed, well I say lie in but the children are usually sooooo excited to give me their home made cards and pressies that they wake me earlier than the usual ten to 6, to declare....

"it's your special day mummy"

Lovely you might think, but all I really want is sleeeeeeppppp. I'm sure all mums with young children secretly feel the same.

I then get treated to Daddy getting up with the kids so I can stay in bed.....but again it's short lived. The kids then bring me breakfast in bed, again lovely, but usually at around 6.30 at this point, when I usually don't eat breakfast until at least 9 o'clock. But my adorable children help me by sharing half my food! 

I do get cooked a delicious sunday lunch by the Hubby, which is always divine I must say! Thank you!!
